Bodystat QuadScan 4000 vs InBody S10

Bodystat QuadScan 4000 and InBody S10: compare documented specifications, features and limitations. Check the reports and explanation offered by the provider. More features alone do not establish better accuracy.

Bodystat QuadScan 4000: when to consider it

QuadScan 4000 measures impedance at four frequencies using adhesive electrodes. Alongside estimated fat and fat-free mass, it reports body-water compartments, resistance, reactance and phase angle. Testing is supine; the operator enters height and weight.

InBody S10: when to consider it

The S10 measures composition and body water without requiring you to stand on a scale. Its electrodes attach separately, allowing lying or seated testing. You will mainly encounter it in clinical care and rehabilitation.

Fat-free mass is not pure muscle mass. A single result is not a diagnosis. Different devices and similarly named metrics may use definitions that are not interchangeable.
