Max Pulse

Max Pulse by MEDICORE

This optical device records the pulse waveform. It is neither an ECG nor a body-composition analyser.

A listing is neither manufacturer endorsement nor an accuracy rating.

What Max Pulse measures

The Max Pulse records an optical pulse wave from your finger. Alongside pulse rate, it analyses waveform shape and, in a longer test, variation in intervals between pulses. It can add a short resting recording to a consultation; it does not measure composition or blood pressure.

Manufacturer specifications describe the model. They do not confirm the report a provider supplies or public service availability.

How it measures

This optical device records the pulse waveform. It is neither an ECG nor a body-composition analyser.

Benefits

  • Compare the documented model specifications before choosing a provider.

What the device does not tell you

  • Optical pulse variability is not automatically interchangeable with ECG variability. The manual warns about arrhythmias.

What to check before choosing

A blood-pressure monitor such as BPBIO750 provides pressure readings. The Max Pulse uses PPG and is not an ECG. Its indices alone do not diagnose disease, blocked arteries or the cause of stress. Analysis can be unreliable with arrhythmias, as its manual also notes.

Exact-model history

The Medicore Max Pulse System is documented in a 2011 US FDA record. This does not date its first worldwide or Czech launch. Its manufacturer is Medicore.
