Bodystat QuadScan 4000 vs InBody BWA 2.0
Bodystat QuadScan 4000 and InBody BWA 2.0: compare documented specifications, features and limitations. Check the reports and explanation offered by the provider. More features alone do not establish better accuracy.
Bodystat QuadScan 4000: when to consider it
QuadScan 4000 measures impedance at four frequencies using adhesive electrodes. Alongside estimated fat and fat-free mass, it reports body-water compartments, resistance, reactance and phase angle. Testing is supine; the operator enters height and weight.
InBody BWA 2.0: when to consider it
The BWA 2.0 focuses on detailed body-water and composition results. Wrist and ankle clamps also allow bedside testing. Its results are especially useful where muscle changes need to be read alongside water changes.

Fat-free mass is not pure muscle mass. A single result is not a diagnosis. Different devices and similarly named metrics may use definitions that are not interchangeable.
